Dining in the future: Food Society reinvents food service

#Group News
Set to open at the heart of Paris in 2020, Les Ateliers Gaîté is one of Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield’s most ambitious urban redevelopment projects. Food Society, a unique food and entertainment concept, will be located within this new commercial, professional and business district. Considered the largest food court in Europe, it will gather 35 restaurants and bars over 5,000sqm. Each counter will offer a signature concept with its own culinary identity. The Food Society will provide the best dining experiences throughout the day, as well as a unique programme of events and culinary activities.

To operate and manage the Food Society, and to make it Paris’ future culinary hotspot, Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield signed a partnership with two emblematic players of the sector: Moma Group and Virginie Godard – Belleville Food Market’s creator who popularised street-food in the French capital.

This unique culinary concept is part of the Group’s strategy to create places where visitors can enjoy a constantly renewed experience, with an exceptional dining and entertainment offer that makes each visit a truly memorable moment.

For Anne-Sophie Sancerre, Managing Director Retail France: “Ateliers Gaîté reinvents the very concept of a shopping place with this gourmet dining-counter concept. We believe that Food Society will become a major culinary trendsetting spot in Paris.”
