Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield is excited to announce the formation of a new retail media agency, Westfield Rise. Bringing to life ‘Your Vision, Our Stage’, Westfield Rise will help create memorable brand moments across the Westfield Universe, with extraordinary impact.

A one-stop-shop for brands and agencies

URW’s new in-house agency allows brands and media-buyers to create innovative and measurable campaigns across URW’s platform of best-in-class retail media assets at its 57 shopping malls in Europe, and includes a dedicated 50-strong international team, with expertise across media, brand experience and data partnerships.

The agency will serve as a one-stop-shop to create bespoke, innovative and exciting campaigns across URW’s network, including more than 1,700 digital billboards in Europe, one of the largest on the continent, and 170 brand experience locations, as well as URW’s on- and offline platforms, data tools and other capabilities. Westfield Rise also has the ability to leverage the entire URW portfolio in Europe and in the US.

The agency has adopted a “one platform, one audience, one inventory” approach, allowing it to offer clients access to a fully GDPR-compliant platform leveraging qualified audience data on the company’s massive footfall, including 550 million yearly visits in Europe, along with 40 million consumers online.

Westfield Rise services include intelligent media networks, domination media, pop-ups, brand experience (experiential and events), product/concept testing, data and analytics. The agency will cater to clients of all sizes, from start-ups that want to reach the local community in a specific location, to international brands looking to leverage URW’s vast customer base.

Through Westfield Rise, brands are able to team up with media partners around Europe, host short-term experiential activations or event sponsorship experiences, forge longer-term partnerships, and benefit from data analytics, production and operations services. Brands can brief in their programme or package of activity across multiple channels and sites centrally, with one point of contact.

Westfield Rise’s network of premium spaces and its expert, internationally focused team allows brands a unique opportunity to create memorable experiences across full digital, large format, immersive tech advertising packages, which can be tailored to a brand’s precise needs and developed to engage specific audiences. This includes iconic formats which give brands a significant ‘wow’ factor in high-traffic, unique destinations, from digital totems up to 55 metres tall to 250 m2 screens – including the Digital Dream at Westfield Le 4 Temps in Paris and the 360° UDS at Westfield Centro in Germany.
